We kicked off Black History month at the SWAG Art Experience, celebrating Style, Wellness, Art, and Growth. Organized by TGaines Entertainment and Commissioner Shan Rose, this free community gathering at Art² brought together diverse residents across ages and backgrounds.
Sponsored by Florida Blue, Downtown Orlando, First Horizon Bank, and the Florida Rights Restoration Coalition, the event showcased artwork by Jordan Jones, Charles Mighty, Aquanza Cadogan, alongside powerful pieces created by incarcerated artists through FRRC.
Attendees enjoyed music, local vendors, and food while connecting over shared appreciation for culture and creativity. Downtown Orlando’s landscape has changed over recent years and this event felt like a breath of fresh air for us all, uniting people through the universal language of art.
